Top up a traveller's eSIM

In short

From the trip dashboard, the organiser tops up a single traveller's eSIM, with no reinstallation and without affecting the others.

Who can top up?

  • The organiser, from the trip dashboard, for any eSIM in the group.
  • An adult traveller, from their personal link: they pay themselves, or ask the organiser.
  • A child (Child profile) can only ask: the parent accepts and pays, or declines.

Child mode

How to top up

  1. Open “My trips”, then the trip concerned.
  2. Tap “Top up” and choose the traveller's eSIM.
  3. Choose a top-up: amount, price and duration are shown before you pay.
  4. Pay: the top-up is added to the same eSIM.

When it is possible

  • When the destination's plan offers top-ups.
  • For a delivered eSIM, on a trip that is neither finished nor cancelled.
  • Unused top-ups also count towards travel credit.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to reinstall the eSIM after a top-up?

No. The top-up is added to the eSIM already installed.

Does the top-up benefit the other travellers?

No. Each eSIM has its own plan: the top-up only applies to the chosen eSIM.

What happens if nobody tops up?

That eSIM's connection stops, nothing extra is charged. The group's other eSIMs carry on as normal.
