Install an eSIM

Before you leave, on Wi-Fi. Allow 3 minutes per phone. Each traveller receives a personal link: everything is done from that link.
On the same phone

Open the link on the phone in question, then tap “Install on this device”. The phone offers to add the line: accept, without making it your primary line.

From another screen

Open the link on a computer or another phone, tap “Show QR code”, then scan it: Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM (iPhone) or SIM manager → Add eSIM (Android).

Manually

If scanning fails, choose “Enter Details Manually” and copy the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown in your guide, using the “Copy” buttons.

Compatibility · detailed iPhone and Android guide
iPhone

Settings → Mobile Data: the “Add eSIM” (or “Add Data Plan”) option should appear. Settings → General → About → “Network Provider Lock” should say “No SIM restrictions”. iPhones from the iPhone XS/XR onwards generally accept eSIMs, except some models sold in mainland China.

The universal test

Dial *#06#: if an EID number appears, the phone accepts eSIMs.

Android

Settings → Connections → SIM manager (Samsung) or Network & internet → SIMs (Pixel): the “Add eSIM” option should appear. The path varies by brand and Android version. A phone bought with a contract may be locked to a network: ask your network to unlock it before you leave.

The universal test

Dial *#06#: if an EID number appears, the phone accepts eSIMs. Sirocco doesn't check the model: this choice remains your responsibility.

An eSIM can only be installed once: don't delete it after installation, even to “try again”. If in doubt, write to us before changing anything.
