Installing 20 eSIMs for a group: the method

Who does what, and when: from testing the phones to the page of QR codes. The same method works for up to 50 travellers.

1. Test the phones

Ask everyone to dial *#06#: an EID number should appear. The phone must not be locked to an operator. Do this before ordering: an eSIM that has been bought cannot be taken back for a phone that does not accept it.

2. Order

In New order, choose the destination, the duration and the plan. Under "Who installs the eSIMs?", choose "I install them myself" and enter the number of travellers. The order is paid with your balance.

3. Open the page of QR codes

All the QR codes appear on a single page, as soon as the eSIMs are ready. Print it or download it as a PDF. A QR code installs on one phone only: keep them private and cross out each one once scanned.

4. Install on Wi-Fi

On the phone, open the option to add an eSIM, then "Use QR Code", and point at the code on the sheet. Some Wi-Fi networks block the installation: try another one if it fails. An eSIM only connects once in the country.

5. Follow the group

In Orders, you can see each eSIM, installed or not, and its usage on arrival.

If you prefer not to install anything

Choose "Each traveller gets their link": each person receives theirs by email, in their language, and the assistant answers them 7 days a week.
